The Wells Gray Country Info-Centre

The hub of visitor-service in Wells Gray Country is the Info-Centre.

You'll find it just off Highway 5 in Clearwater, at the intersection with Clearwater Valley Road (which leads into Wells Gray Park).

Originally run by BC Parks, the centre is now operated by Information Wells Gray, a non-profit society. The costs of keeping the centre open are covered largely by contributions made by visitors, either as donations, or through the refreshment-bar, gift-shop and outdoor-gear store in the building: there is also a booking-agency, which will help you to arrange accommodation and activities during your stay here. We welcome and appreciate your help!

The building also houses a SuperNatural BC information desk, operated by the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, which is able to help with visitor-information about this area and elsewhere in BC.

The centre is generally open from mid May to mid October, seven days a week, from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Hours are longer from June through into September.
